Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian anti-doping agencies plan joint anti-doping action!

On 12 August, the Baltic Anti-Doping Agencies of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia met in Vilnius to discuss cooperation between the organisations. The Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency and its colleagues shared their working experience. It was agreed that Lithuania will be involved in the cooperation between Estonia and Latvia. In the future, doping controls will be carried out not only on athletes from the Baltic countries, but also on athletes from neighbouring countries, at different competitions in the Baltic States, regardless of where they are held. There will also be full cooperation in other areas of anti-doping, such as education, handling anti-doping rule violations, etc.

A cooperation agreement between the three countries is expected to be signed shortly.
