Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency statement on the need for action in the fight for clean sport

We recognise the importance of Professor McLaren's report for sport at international level as a whole. The revelations in the report are shocking and compel action in the fight for clean sport. The Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency expresses its support to the World Anti-Doping Agency, the International Olympic Committee and other organisations fighting doping in sport and has always provided and will continue to provide them with all possible assistance. It is incumbent on all of us to work together with our international partners and to help each other to build strong anti-doping systems in countries where they are weak. Our common goal is to ensure the right of clean and honest athletes to participate in sport without doping.
