2022-06-16The Department of Drugs, Tobacco and Alcohol Control (DTAKD), the social partner of the LITHUANIAN ANTIDOPING AGENCY, invites you to celebrate the World No Tobacco Day and to draw your attention to the fact that this year has been declared the "Year of Youth" not only in Lithuania, but also in the whole Europe, 2 May - On 30 June, the social action "Go Smokefree" is organised.
Anyone can be a participant in "Go Smokefree"! We invite you to choose a smoke-free life and have fun walking, spending time with a friend, family member or pet, collecting steps and not counting the minutes. And if you already have an addiction, this could be an opportunity to try to change it into a new and healthier habit.
Everyone, taking part in the campaign, have the chance to win various prizes: travel bags, drinks, headphones, backpacks and other prizes. We will also choose a weekly walker of the week and at the end of the campaign we will award a special prize to the walker who has walked the most steps during the campaign. Let this be a small incentive, an inspiration to start on the road to a healthier tomorrow.
