Arvydas Mišeikis is disqualified for 4 years for an anti-doping rule violation.

On 28 April 2017, the Lithuanian Powerlifting Federation informed that the athlete Arvydas Mišeikis was disqualified for 4 years. The following substances were detected in the athlete's sample: trebanone metabolite, epi-trebanone, stanozolol metabolites 16beta-hydroxystanozolol, 4beta-hydroxystanozolol, meldonium, all of which are included in the prohibited list (TAR, 21.01.2016, No.1332). The prohibited substances were detected in the Athlete's doping sample taken on 26 November 2016. The Athlete was subject to doping control by the Latvian Anti-Doping Agency during the Latvian Powerlifting Championships on 26 November 2016. The sanction was imposed in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the Lithuanian Anti-Doping Rules in force at the time of the violation. The period of Ineligibility shall start from the date of the Doping Sample collection.
