According to the World Anti-Doping Code, when organising national or international competitions, the organisers must allow for doping controls.

The entrance to the doping control station shall be marked with a sign prohibiting unauthorised persons from entering;
The premises shall be used exclusively for the doping control procedure;
Only Doping Control Officers and persons invited by the athletes and their entourage for doping control may enter the premises;
It must be possible to ensure the privacy of athletes.

The sampling area shall be equipped with: table; chairs;
The room must be bright;
The room must have facilities for washing hands;
Facilities must have a toilet;
The Doping Control Station must be located where the competition is taking place or within a short distance of the competition venue.

Filming and/or photography is prohibited at the Doping Control Station.
The organisers must provide drinks for the athletes.
