Athlete Domantas Kmieliauskas is disqualified for 4 years

The Weightlifting Federation informed the Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency that Domantas Kmieliauskas has been disqualified for 4 years for the use of banned substances S1.1A Exogenous AAS/drostanolone metabolite 2a-methyl-5a-androstan-3a-ol-17-one,  - S1.1B Endogenous AAS/19-norandrosterone., which are included in the Insured List (TAR, 21 January 2016, No 1332). The Prohibited Substances were detected in the Athlete's doping sample taken by the Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency during a competition in Klaipėda on 10 June 2017. The sanction was imposed in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code 2015 and the Lithuanian Anti-Doping Rules in force at the time of the violation. The period of Ineligibility shall start from the date of the Doping Sample collection.
